About the role
This role sits in Visa's Global Business-to-Business Identity & Access Management team, which protects access to business portals and services worldwide. You will design, implement and run IAM solutions, mainly on ForgeRock, in line with changing threats, regulations and enterprise architecture. It suits someone with a few years of relevant experience who enjoys hands-on identity work and collaborating with distributed teams.
What you'll do
Support SSO integrations on ForgeRock Access Management, applying standard configs, running integration tests and triaging issues under guidance.
Help set up and maintain federation using SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0, including metadata, certificates and keys, and basic log troubleshooting.
Contribute to authorization policy updates and help build adaptive authentication trees and journeys in ForgeRock AM using approved patterns and templates.

Take part in AM environment operations, following runbooks for configuration changes, basic hardening and tuning in non-production, and supervised production changes.
Help validate and tune session management configurations across regions in test, raising risks and anomalies promptly.
Assist with ForgeRock Directory Services through routine health checks, replication status checks, user and directory sync jobs, and backups following SOPs.
Maintain LDAP settings such as password policies and ACIs, and write simple automation scripts in Shell or Python for repetitive tasks.
Execute performance and load test plans created by senior engineers, collect results and highlight bottlenecks.
Deploy and manage ForgeRock web and app server agents via standard procedures across IIS, Apache HTTP Server, NGINX, Apache Tomcat, Node.js and JBoss Web Server, first in test then production with oversight.
Implement and support Multi-Factor Authentication rollouts, monitor success and error rates and assist with troubleshooting.
Provide L2 operational support on rotation, document KB articles and known-error records, and escalate appropriately.
Produce clear documentation such as change records, runbooks and build/ops notes, and keep them current.
Collaborate with globally distributed teams, join change and release cadences, make timely recommendations and escalate urgent issues.

Requirements
2+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors degree, or 5+ years of relevant work experience
Familiarity with web/application servers such as Apache HTTP Server, Microsoft IIS and Apache Tomcat; exposure to NGINX or JWS is a plus
Knowledge of LDAP concepts and basic directory administration
Linux fundamentals and basic Windows Server administration
Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Splunk, Elastic/Kibana or Grafana/Prometheus for dashboards and alerts
Understanding of SSO/federation standards (SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0) and MFA concepts
