Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer IV

About the role

Maintain the reliability, safety and efficiency of mission-critical data center infrastructure. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression and life-safety systems. Monitor the Building Monitoring System, respond to alarms and carry out incident response. Coordinate vendor work, prepare site documentation such as MOPs and work permits, and complete operational work orders. Work shift-based schedules including nights, weekends and public holidays to support 24x7 operations.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or related) or equivalent practical experience
• Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience in critical facilities, data center operations or a comparable technical environment
• Able to perform hands-on tasks including work at height or in confined spaces
• Able to work shift-based schedules including nights, weekends and public holidays
