Data Center Critical Facilities V

About the role

You will operate, maintain and support mission-critical electrical infrastructure in a data centre, including UPS systems, generators, switchgear, transformers and PDUs. You will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, lead troubleshooting and respond to alarms from the BMS and EPMS. You will lead critical switching operations, maintenance windows and incident recovery, and act as technical lead during power-related incidents. You will also prepare and review MOPs, SOPs, EOPs and switching plans, manage electrical vendors, and mentor engineers and technicians. The role supports capacity planning, commissioning and reliability improvement projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related discipline preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience operating and maintaining critical electrical infrastructure
• Experience with UPS systems, diesel generators, switchgear, breakers and transformers
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage distribution and power monitoring systems
• Experience performing electrical switching, maintenance planning and incident response
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical faults and identify root causes
