Data Center Operations Assistant

About the role

Support the safe and efficient day-to-day operations of a critical data center environment. Assist with infrastructure monitoring, incident response, maintenance activities, and compliance with site procedures. Help install, configure, and test hardware and software, and troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and network issues. Maintain accurate asset and inventory records, and support preventive maintenance and small-to-large scale projects. Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Methods of Procedure to ensure safe and compliant execution of work.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, technical operations, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Flexible to support 24x7 operations, including weekends, public holidays, and on-call requirements
