Data Protection Office - Associate

About the role

You will support the Data Protection Office in developing guidance and monitoring compliance with data protection laws, contractual obligations and internal policies. Duties include drafting local policies and guidance, conducting privacy and data protection compliance reviews, and assisting with investigations into data incidents or privacy complaints. You will also help with data protection control reviews as part of technology risk assessments, prepare training material, and handle periodic internal and external reporting. The role involves maintaining content on internal data protection portals and supporting ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in data governance, data privacy, data risk and compliance, IT security or IT audit
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident and mature communicator able to interact with staff at all levels
• Resourceful team player with a positive work attitude and resilience
• Willingness to learn and deliver timely, quality results
