About the role

You will join a research programme focused on oncology, genomics and data science. Your main duties include optimising pipelines for genomic, transcriptomic and radiomic data, and performing feature engineering for statistical modelling, machine learning and deep learning. You will also conduct survival analyses and other computational work to understand cancer progression and treatment resistance. You will work closely with the Principal Investigator, research and clinical teams, and contribute to research discussions with scientists and clinical collaborators.

Requirements

Postgraduate degree (at least master's level) in bioinformatics, quantitative or computational biology, data science, computer science, or related field
Highly motivated, organised, meticulous, and committed to high-quality standards
For PhD holders: at least two years of experience analysing multi-omics data (e.g. WES, RNA-seq) and clinical data using statistical methods, classical machine learning, deep learning, and language models
Prior experience in data curation, cleaning, organisation, and management
Proficiency in Python, R, or another relevant programming language
