About the role

This role sits within the Financial Infrastructure & Artificial Intelligence Office and focuses on strengthening AI capabilities and adoption across Singapore's financial sector. You will act as a bridge between financial institutions and MAS, working across policy, supervisory and industry development functions. It suits someone with substantial experience in strategy, consulting, industry development or related fields within financial services or the public sector.

What you'll do

Shape strategies to strengthen AI capabilities and adoption across the financial sector
Work closely with financial institutions and industry stakeholders to develop initiatives that support industry transformation
Improve the enabling environment for responsible AI adoption
Drive MAS' approach to supporting AI capability development and adoption across the financial sector
Monitor AI adoption trends, implementation experience and emerging challenges to inform strategies and initiatives

Requirements

At least 5 years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, industry development, innovation, business transformation, public policy, regulation, supervision, compliance or risk management within financial services or the public sector
Strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with AI adoption within financial institutions
Understanding of how regulatory, supervisory, governance and compliance considerations influence AI adoption and deployment within financial institutions
Ability to identify industry-wide challenges and develop practical recommendations spanning industry development, supervisory engagement and policy considerations
Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage financial institutions, industry associations, technology providers and government agencies
Ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups and bridge industry, policy, supervisory, compliance and technology perspectives
