Deputy/Assistant Director, Investment Schemes & Disclosures

About the role

You will join a team regulating sustainability disclosures by securities issuers and offers of units in collective investment schemes, including REITs, ETFs and unit trusts. The role involves engaging domestic and international standards-setting bodies and regulators on globally consistent sustainability disclosures. You will work on sustainability disclosure implementation and assurance for listed companies and retail investment products, and contribute to standard-setting and best practices. You will also administer rules governing fund offers under the Securities and Futures Act and the Code on Collective Investment Schemes.

Requirements

• Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in corporate financial reporting and/or sustainability reporting
• Accounting degree with accounting/audit work experience preferred
• Understanding of sustainability matters linked to reporting and securities regulation
• Strong strategic thinking, data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Strong project management skills
