Deputy Director, Data Science (SWDA)

About the role

Lead the implementation of the organisation's data strategy, strengthen data capabilities and improve data management to support data-driven decision making and products. Develop and review data policies, ensure data quality and governance, and make data ready for AI use. Oversee data infrastructure and architecture, including AI and GenAI systems, to support analytics and reporting. Manage corporate reporting and key performance indicators, and build algorithms to extract jobs and skills insights. Work with business divisions to identify new data opportunities and build models such as fraud detection.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in data strategy and policy work
• Strategic planning and critical thinking skills
• Information management and decision-making ability
• Strong written and oral communication
• Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
• People management and collaboration skills
