Deputy Director, Government Incident Reporting Ops

About the role

Lead an operational team that centralises, assesses and manages Whole-of-Government incident reports across all Singapore Government agencies. Cover cybersecurity, data, physical security, service disruption and operational failure incidents, ensuring swift severity assessment, accurate fact-gathering and escalation to leadership. Drive continuous improvement of reporting workflows and build a Just Culture that encourages transparent reporting. Turn incident data into insights, identify trends and cross-domain vulnerabilities, and institutionalise lessons across agencies. Mentor and develop team officers in technical literacy and analytical skills.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience in complex operations, incident response, crisis management or operational risk
• Strong foundational knowledge across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity operations and physical security frameworks
• Familiarity with incident classification models, threat landscapes and risk matrix frameworks
• Proven track record operating within large, complex organisations
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse, high-level stakeholders and navigate matrixed structures
• Exceptional written and spoken English for executive communication
