About the role

A footwear design role with a global fashion brand's design team in Singapore. You'll turn trends and ideas into wearable, functional footwear, working closely with development and materials colleagues based in Asia. It suits a trend-aware designer who enjoys shapes, materials and textures and wants to grow a career in footwear design.

What you'll do

Research emerging fashion, culture and design trends
Turn trends and ideas into fresh, commercially viable footwear concepts
Work closely with the development and materials team in Asia to bring designs to life
Take part in fittings and prototype reviews to refine product details
Manage design projects from first sketch through to final product delivery
Keep up with market demands and consumer expectations so designs stay relevant and original

Good to know

Full-time role based in Singapore
Relocation to Singapore is supported if applicable

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Footwear Design, Fashion Design or a related field
Experience in footwear design and product development
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Confident sketching by hand or digitally and building visual presentations
Confident working with materials, silhouettes and colour stories
Strong original design aesthetic with a modern, trend-aware view
