Designer, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA)

About the role

You will design features and user journeys for internal and citizen-facing digital products that support Singapore's Foreign Service. Working closely with product managers, engineers, policy officers and fellow designers, you will understand user needs and deliver intuitive digital experiences. You will apply user-centred design, systems thinking and research to translate complex operational and policy requirements into accessible and scalable solutions. You will work with a high degree of autonomy across end-to-end product delivery and help improve the quality and consistency of MFA's digital products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
• Proven experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Solid understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices
• Experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable design insights
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
