About the role
A hospital dietitian role focused on clinical nutrition care for patients, working alongside caregivers and a multi-disciplinary team. It suits a qualified dietitian who can manage a caseload, keep up clinical standards, and also contribute to education, research and department projects.
What you'll do
Keep care standards consistent across patients
Assess patients' nutrition by reviewing relevant data and applying clinical reasoning
Work out the right nutrition diagnosis
Put together and carry out medical nutrition therapy and care plans
Agree treatment goals together with the patient
Track patient progress and adjust the care plan as needed
Teach patients and train their caregivers
Coordinate with caregivers and the multi-disciplinary team
Document the nutrition care process following department and hospital guidelines
Follow organisational and departmental guidelines and clinical standards
Meet the clinical competency requirements on the competency checklist
Manage and maintain your workload
Hit target caseload and clinical key achievement areas
Plan and finish work within the given time frame

Help with quality improvement activities and projects on clinical care
