Digital Governance Specialist (Deputy Director / Assistant Director / Senior Manager)

About the role

You will help modernise governance, risk and compliance (GRC) across GovTech and the wider Singapore Government. The role involves designing policies that work in practice, managing enterprise risks, building assurance into technology delivery, governing AI and autonomous systems, identifying emerging risks early, and designing how policy, risk, controls and assurance fit together as one system. You will work on real systems with real users and constraints, experimenting and prototyping to find solutions that can scale. This is a single role with multiple capability archetypes, not separate jobs or career tracks.

Requirements

• Willing to question why processes exist and what risk they manage
• Able to design policy that works in the real world
• Experience in governance, risk, compliance, or related fields
• Comfortable working with engineers, users and organisational behaviour
• Able to translate risk appetite into practical decisions
• Interest in AI and autonomous systems governance
