About the role

Scoot is growing its Boeing 787 wide-body operations and is looking for experienced B787 type-rated Captains to join the team at its Singapore base. This role suits a seasoned pilot who can command flights with strong safety leadership and operational discipline. Take command of flights from the left-hand seat
Uphold high personal and professional standards at all times
Ensure flights are safe, comfortable and on time

Variable roster patterns are assigned upon roster publication, with work and rest days planned in advance
Training programmes are streamlined to help new joiners integrate quickly
Successful candidates may be trained for an aircraft type rating for the assigned fleet
Where type rating training is provided, a co-payment of training cost applies and a training bond is required
Shortlisted applicants complete online aptitude tests, then an Assessment Centre in Singapore with a group stage and individual interview
Successful candidates attend a simulator assessment and personality assessment over 2 days

Requirements

More than 5,000 total flight hours on aeroplanes with MTMA of 5,700kg or more
At least 2,000 Pilot-in-Command hours on multi-engine jet commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation, excluding P1 U/S hours
Hold a CAAS-issued ICAO ATPL; foreign ATPL holders must undergo licence conversion with an instrument rating and proficiency check valid for at least 6 months
Speak and understand English at ICAO level 4 or above
Meet all CAAS vaccination requirements
