About the role

Scoot is growing its Embraer narrow-body fleet and is looking for experienced turboprop captains who want to move into commercial jet flying. The role is based at the Singapore headquarters and suits pilots with strong command experience, a focus on safety, and the discipline to lead a crew. You will be part of a team that values work-life balance through fixed roster patterns.

What you'll do

Take command of the flight from the left-hand seat
Maintain high personal and professional standards at all times
Ensure flights are safe, comfortable and on time
Lead by example and act as a team player

Good to know

Fixed roster patterns for predictable scheduling
Successful candidates may be trained to obtain an Aircraft Type Rating for the assigned fleet
Type rating training comes with a co-payment and a training bond
Shortlisted applicants complete online aptitude tests
Those who pass the online stage attend an Assessment Centre in Singapore with a group stage and individual interview
Successful candidates attend a Simulator Assessment and Personality Assessment over 2 days

Requirements

More than 4,000 total flight hours on aeroplanes with MTMA of 5,700kg or more
At least 2,000 Pilot-in-Command hours on multi-engine turboprop commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation (excluding P1 U/S hours)
ICAO ATPL issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (foreign ATPL holders must undergo license conversion with an instrument rating and a proficiency check valid for at least 6 months)
Ability to speak and understand English at ICAO level 4 or above
Meet all vaccination requirements set by CAAS
