Director of Finance

About the role

Lead the hotel's finance function and act as a key business partner to the General Manager and Leadership Team. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow, internal controls and audits. Manage accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, Credit, Cash Management and payroll-related controls. Review contracts, CAPEX plans and commercial proposals, and advise management on financial implications. Lead, coach and develop the Finance Team while ensuring compliance with tax, statutory and brand requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Significant finance leadership experience, preferably in hotel or hospitality
• Strong knowledge of hotel financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, P&L, cash flow, internal controls and audit
• Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder-management skills
• High integrity, attention to detail and accountability
