About the role
This role leads the structuring business across corporate, investor and bank clients, building platforms and delivering structured solutions across hedging, risk management, financing and yield enhancement. You will work with trading and sales stakeholders to originate new business and grow product capabilities across rates, FX, credit and equity asset classes. It suits an experienced structuring, trading or solutions sales professional who can operate across teams and regions.
What you'll do
Partner with product, sales and in-country financial markets heads to grow structured credit and macro derivative business
Feed regional credit and macro structuring teams to support product delivery and cross-asset guidance
Ensure structured credit and macro product suites are delivered regionally with a client focus

Help build product and client structuring business regionally and support its growth and stability
Identify short, medium and long-term initiatives to grow the structuring business
Build working partnerships between CIB, product and FM sales teams for a coordinated client interface
Deliver new product capabilities with stakeholders to improve efficiency and expand the business
Manage business and risk process issues with risk, governance and control committees
Support deal origination in India with sales and coverage teams to generate ideas and pitch clients
Build effective relationships with key internal CIB stakeholders
Lead by example and set tone and expectations for the team in collaboration with risk and control partners
Enforce a risk management culture and ensure teams follow risk processes
Provide impartial guidance on product and client appropriateness and suitability
Discourage transactions with unmanageable market risk profiles
Ensure systems and controls comply with group and business policies, procedures, standards and codes across risk, compliance, technology, operations, finance and reputation
Escalate risk issues and concentrations, taking remedial action and ensuring reporting where appropriate
Protect the bank's stability, long-term sustainability and reputation
Display exemplary conduct and live by the group's values and code of conduct
Embed high ethical standards, including regulatory and business conduct, across the bank
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the group code of conduct
Lead the team to achieve conduct principles outcomes including fair client outcomes, effective financial markets and financial crime compliance
Identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters collaboratively
Embed the group's brand and values globally across the team
Perform other responsibilities assigned under group, country, business or functional policies
