Education Specialist, Public Programmes (Temp)

About the role

Support the museum's daily operations by welcoming school and corporate groups and public visitors. Deliver educational programmes such as tours, workshops, online programmes and events to schools and the public. Engage visitors positively and professionally, sharing knowledge about exhibitions and galleries. Perform shift duties including weekends and public holidays, and assist with administrative tasks and inventory. Work closely with the Programmes Team and report to the Assistant Manager/Manager for smooth shift operations.

Requirements

• Minimum certificate or Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality/Arts Management/Art Education preferred or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in hospitality and tourism, education or arts and culture industry
• Passion for learning and communicating the arts and sciences
• Enjoy working with children and people of all ages
• Awareness of current practices in museum-based education and/or education more broadly
• Motivated and energetic, with experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
