About the role

This role sits within the Planning Industrial Engineering team at a semiconductor manufacturing fab in Singapore, where the focus is on capacity modelling to make sure the right tools are bought at the right time to meet customer demand. You will hold sustaining ownership of key planning information and parameters in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, partnering with teams across the company to prepare data for scenario studies and drive ongoing improvements to plans. It suits an analytical engineering or science graduate who enjoys statistics, cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

Keep capacity models for an assigned fab area accurate and up to date
Apply industrial engineering methods to capacity analysis, line management, scheduling and production planning

Use statistical analysis to maintain and audit manufacturing capacity information

Design and coordinate projects involving several different departments

Work with management to build applications that continuously improve production metrics

Collaborate with R&D and process engineering to plan for future product introduction

Evaluate scenarios for modelling changes, run what-if studies, and work with Engineering and Production to understand the impact

Coordinate capital purchases and capacity changes with corporate planning and purchasing

Partner with Area Managers to stay updated on area issues, priorities and projects

Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality or effectiveness, while exercising sound judgment and complying with organisational standards and legal requirements

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within your scope of work

Good to know

Based at Fab 10N/X, Singapore
Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and the company is preferred

Requirements

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science, with preference for Industrial Systems Engineering
Strong understanding of statistics and data analysis
Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills
Effective communicator able to collaborate across all levels
Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively
