About the role

You will take charge of the daily running of a commercial, residential or industrial building in Singapore, keeping systems, services and operations safe, compliant and efficient. The role suits someone proactive and detail-oriented who is comfortable coordinating contractors, tenants and regulators. You will work with service providers and residents to keep the property in good shape.

What you'll do

Oversee building operations covering M&E systems, housekeeping, security, landscaping and pest control
Track contractor and service provider performance against contracts and KPIs
Carry out regular inspections and audits for cleanliness, safety and efficiency
Ensure operations meet BCA, SCDF, NEA and other regulatory requirements

Prepare and manage documentation for mandatory inspections such as Fire Safety Certificate, Periodic Structural Inspections, lift and escalator maintenance and Green Mark Certification

Keep up to date with changes in relevant laws and WSH guidelines

Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical

Manage asset registers and keep equipment maintained and working well

Assist in preparing annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets

Monitor and control operating expenses within approved budgets

Act as point of contact for residents on facilities issues and handle feedback and complaints, coordinating timely resolution

Support the FSM on regular fire drills and provide documents when required

Good to know

Location: Singapore

Requirements

Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering or a related field
At least 2–5 years of relevant building or facilities management experience
Good knowledge of Singapore building regulations and statutory requirements (BCA, SCDF, NEA, WSH Act)
Familiar with building systems such as M&E, HVAC, fire protection and lifts
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
