Experience Some experience About the role This role supports non-clinical operations at an eldercare organisation, reporting to the Manager of Programmes & Services. You will own one of three functional pillars — programme and volunteer management, care and service liaison, or employee wellbeing and administrative support — with rotation across portfolios over time. It suits organised, people-oriented individuals who enjoy working with seniors and their families.
What you'll do Plan and run engagement activities for elderly residents, covering cognitive, physical, reminiscence, social and intergenerational programmes Get to know residents' preferences, backgrounds and any physical or cognitive limitations Work with care partners to weave engagement into residents' daily routines Know someone for this? Build community partnerships and a volunteer pipeline with schools, companies, religious and community groups
Manage the full volunteer journey from recruitment and screening to training, matching, engagement and recognition
Track participation, feedback and programme outcomes to keep the activity calendar fresh
Coordinate with care teams so programmes run safely and match each resident's care plan
Guide residents and families through admission and discharge, including pre-admission counselling
Handle government financial assistance applications under AIC frameworks
Conduct financial reviews with residents, next of kin and medical social workers to set payment arrangements
Lead service quality and feedback management across the facility
Run resident and family satisfaction surveys and analyse the results
Compile quality metrics and draft submissions for service excellence awards such as SHQA and CCEA
Provide administrative and secretariat support to nursing and division committees
Support clinical operations, standardisation, external provider liaison, transport arrangements and clinical indicator reporting
Keep resident records, collaterals and archives in order
Conduct monthly hygiene, safety and living standard audits of dormitories and follow up on findings
Welcome and integrate new staff into the organisation
Organise team-bonding and welfare activities to lift staff morale
Act as employee liaison for non-clinical staff needs and cross-team communication
Coordinate learning and development, tracking training needs and mandatory course completion
Lead or support quality and operational improvement projects
Help prepare documentation and workflows for MOH audits and licensing
Take part in job rotations to build cross-functional skills
