About the role
This role sits within the Procurement Department under the Corporate Planning Division, focusing on warehouse governance and logistics operations. You will help keep warehouse activities safe, compliant and efficient through strong controls, standard procedures and inventory integrity. It suits someone with warehouse operations experience who enjoys audit, process improvement and working with vendors and internal teams.

Manage cycle count activities, review inventory discrepancies, and process inventory adjustments and stock transfer order reversals on time.

Ensure cycle count results and inventory discrepancies are reported promptly.
Carry out periodic physical stock inspections and warehouse audits, and prepare reports on findings and follow-up actions.
Lead reviews of recurring operational failures flagged by system alerts, and put in place corrective and preventive actions.
Manage and troubleshoot escalated Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) issues, working with the ASRS provider Muratec, vendors and internal stakeholders to reduce disruption.
Gather business requirements and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements, partnering with internal stakeholders on troubleshooting and improvement work.
Develop and maintain training materials, and drive change adoption among third-party logistics providers and warehouse users.
Lead warehouse improvement and automation initiatives, including RFID implementation and related sourcing or RFP exercises.
Manage and monitor internal operational audit reports, ensuring findings are closed on time and corrective actions are implemented.
Ensure warehouse 3PL partners meet Goods Receipt (GR) and Goods Issue (GI) timeliness requirements and operational standards.
Monitor and drive user compliance with GR timeliness requirements.
Conduct warehouse and on-site audits to identify and address operational, risk, safety and housekeeping gaps.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and support regulatory inspections, assessments and follow-up actions.
Maintain readiness for TradeFIRST assessments and other regulatory or compliance reviews.
Support additional governance and compliance requirements, including sustainability reporting and access-control compliance.
Maintain and regularly review the Business Continuity Plan (BCP), run readiness exercises, follow up on actions, and keep recovery procedures and contact lists current.
Conduct periodic access reviews and segregation-of-duties control checks, resolve exceptions, and maintain disposal records and verify evidence completeness.

Requirements
Degree majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Proficient in SAP Extended Warehouse Management System
At least 2 years managing warehouse operations at executive or mid-management level
Experience in warehouse governance, audit and compliance is an advantage
Proactive and resourceful
Meticulous with strong attention to detail
