About the role

This role sits in the Strategic Planning & Scanning department at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, supporting strategy development and enterprise risk management work. You will join a team handling integrated planning and risk processes, and the position suits someone organised, discreet and comfortable working with senior stakeholders.

What you'll do

Partner with EXCO sponsors, co-sponsors and directors of strategic workgroups to shape the strategic plan
Carry out research and benchmarking to inform plan formulation and recommend improvements
Provide secretariat support for strategic workgroup meetings and prepare agenda items for management discussions

Conduct market, industry and internal analyses to surface opportunities, risks and improvement areas

Coordinate workplan seminars, including programme development with management and preparation of materials

Perform secretariat duties for senior management meetings

Identify and assess risks through horizon scanning, risk perception surveys and risk discussions with directors

Guide risk owners in developing KRIs and risk control action plans, and formulate risk response narratives

Track implementation progress of new risk controls with risk and control owners

Monitor and report risk updates to management, including KRI results and action plan progress

Support development of the organisation's risk training programme

Requirements

Degree holder with 2–3 years of relevant working experience
Mature, meticulous, with a high level of discretion and integrity
Resourceful team player able to work independently and show initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Able to perform data analysis and information research
Strong communication skills to liaise with faculty, admin staff and other stakeholders
