This role sits with CapitaLand's sustainability team in Central Singapore, supporting decarbonisation and environmental performance work across a global property portfolio. It suits someone with a few years of sustainability or building performance experience who enjoys both data work and cross-team collaboration.
What you'll do
Work with product and technical services teams to help properties worldwide build decarbonisation pathways with measurable carbon reduction targets.
Help develop and roll out the Ascott CarbonClear Initiative so properties align with the company's sustainability and decarbonisation framework.
Find and run pilots of new sustainability solutions to improve building performance and cut carbon impact.

Support the global sustainability strategy by aligning operational teams and stakeholders with decarbonisation goals and best practices.
Analyse sustainability data from the global portfolio to spot trends and give actionable insights on building performance, energy, water, waste and carbon emissions.
Use data insights to optimise building performance, meet sustainability goals and flag areas needing improvement.
Provide strategic insights from global sustainability trends, highlighting improvement opportunities against decarbonisation targets.
Benchmark sustainability performance across properties and advise on improvements to meet global and local goals.
Support listed and private fund entities with GRESB submissions, making sure data and performance information is accurate and on time.
Ensure global properties submit sustainability data on time and accurately, tracking KPIs such as energy, water, waste and carbon emissions.
Run regular checks on data completeness, accuracy and consistency, resolving discrepancies with property teams.
Help maintain and optimise data systems including UL360 and Greenview Portal so data is correctly integrated and accessible.
Help build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools giving real-time views of sustainability performance and decarbonisation progress.
Assist in onboarding new properties onto UL360 and Greenview Portal, and train property teams on data collection and reporting.

Requirements
At least 3-5 years of experience in sustainability, decarbonisation strategies or a related field
Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related discipline
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in sustainability data collection and analysis
Proficiency with data management and reporting tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI or Tableau
Knowledge of decarbonisation frameworks and strategies, especially in the built environment
Experience piloting or implementing sustainability solutions for building performance
