About the role
This role supports the safe and proper running of plant utilities and facilities systems at a semiconductor fabrication site. You will work in a shift-based operations team, monitoring equipment through control systems and responding to issues that could affect production. It suits someone with an engineering background who is comfortable with rotating 12-hour shifts and coordinating with different parties on site.
Operate facilities equipment and systems safely and correctly
Monitor facilities equipment and systems through FMCS or similar control systems
Respond quickly to out-of-specification or abnormal conditions affecting production or the site
Escalate abnormal conditions to the relevant parties promptly
Restore facilities services fast to reduce disruption to production or the site
Handle facilities service requests
Support and apply operating procedures and risk assessments for facilities systems and related work
Coordinate maintenance or installation work for operating facilities systems and equipment on site
Pass down information accurately to the next shift
Carry out shift routines and activities
Help draft SOPs, checklists and daily plant reports
Follow up on incidents or service interruptions
Coordinate with internal and external parties on facilities operation activities
Prioritise and organise work during the shift
Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team
Co-chair the Facilities Daily Operation morning meeting and pass-down with the Facilities Operations Engineer
Perform WAC regen and ACF backwash
Complete assigned learning and training within the given time frame
Review and approve work permits
Use AI-assisted tools and insights in daily work to improve efficiency, quality or effectiveness, with sound judgement and in line with organisational and legal standards
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying, testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within your scope of work

Requirements
Engineering diploma in Electronic/Electrical, Mechanical, Controls and Instrumentation, or a similar field
Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and able to prioritise work
Able to work independently and in a team
Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts
