About the role
This role supports production at Fab 10N/X in Singapore, operating and monitoring equipment so that lots are processed correctly and on time. It suits someone with a technical diploma or NITEC background who is comfortable with 12-hour shift work and enjoys hands-on troubleshooting on the floor.
What you'll do
Run and watch several machines so production lots are processed accurately, efficiently and to quality standards, meeting shift output targets.
Use computer-based programs and applications confidently for daily tasks.
Cover machines during break periods when needed.
Keep machine logs accurate and up to date.
Track equipment performance and report any abnormalities or discrepancies to the Shift Lead without delay.
Operate equipment following current process specs, procedures, change notices and engineering requirements.
Keep the workstation tidy and follow 6S standards.
Suggest ideas to improve quality, productivity and workplace safety.
Take part in on-the-job training and required certification programmes.
Complete certification and recertification by showing competency in assigned processes and equipment.
Give and receive clear, accurate and detailed shift handovers.
Seek and offer constructive feedback to leaders, colleagues and support teams.
Recommend improvements to process, quality, safety or efficiency when spotted.
Ask for clarification when unsure so tasks are done accurately and safely.
Identify and report workplace hazards, unsafe conditions or safety concerns.
Use AI-assisted tools and insights in daily work to improve efficiency, quality or effectiveness, with sound judgement and in line with company standards and legal requirements.
Help build a continuous improvement culture by identifying, testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within your scope of work.
Follow all safety procedures, guidelines and protocols strictly.

Requirements
Diploma, NITEC, Higher NITEC or equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing or a related technical field
Willing to work a permanent 12-hour day or night shift
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to identify problems and apply the right SOPs
Able to read and interpret technical documents, work instructions and process specifications
Strong verbal and written communication for shift handovers and documentation
