About the role
This role sits with the production control team at a semiconductor fab in Singapore, keeping wafer flow moving and output on track. It suits someone with a diploma in engineering or science, or hands-on fab experience, who is comfortable with data tools and cleanroom work.
What you'll do
Run daily production control tasks such as wafer lot starts, lot monitoring, FOUP management, offload operations and WIP management in line with fab priorities.
Use data analytics and AI-enabled tools to watch production flow, spot bottlenecks, set priorities and support decisions on material movement and dispatch.
Handle offload send and receive operations with accurate documentation, system transactions and adherence to manufacturing procedures.

Track production indicators such as WIP levels, aging risks, cycle time, carrier utilisation and capacity limits, and escalate abnormalities to Production Control Engineers and Manufacturing teams.
Use AI-assisted insights and digital dashboards to review production trends, catch operational exceptions and suggest workflow improvements.
Work with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Equipment Engineering, Automation and other teams to resolve material flow issues like carrier shortages, routing discrepancies, system mismatches and disruptions.
Process transactions accurately in MES, SAP and other manufacturing systems to keep inventory, recipe compliance and data integrity in order.
Give first-level support for dispatch, logistics, automation or system issues using diagnostic tools, AI-assisted knowledge resources and standard troubleshooting methods.
Use AI-enabled tools to prepare shift summaries, handover reports, operational updates and issue documentation.
Look for ways to improve efficiency through process standardisation, workflow automation and adoption of AI and digital manufacturing solutions.
Keep up operational discipline, data accuracy, quality, safety and compliance while supporting continuous improvement.
Contribute to a continuous improvement culture by testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within your scope of work.

Non-standard working hours apply, including compressed schedules and 12-hour night shifts as required by manufacturing operations.
Most working time is spent in a cleanroom, fully smocked in line with cleanroom and safety requirements.
Requirements
Diploma in Engineering or Science, or relevant hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing and fab operations
Experience in a semiconductor fab environment (Manufacturing, Operations, Warehouse or related) is preferred
Able to work non-standard hours, including compressed schedules and 12-hour night shifts
Able to work in a cleanroom fully smocked for most of the working time
Baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly
