Facilities Administrator Mailroom

About the role

You will manage the mailroom operations, sorting and distributing incoming mail, packages, and courier deliveries to recipients across the facility. You will handle outgoing mail services, including metering, weighing, labeling, and coordinating pickups with postal and courier vendors. You will maintain tracking systems and logs for packages and certified mail, operate mailroom equipment, and respond to inquiries from building occupants. You will also coordinate with security and reception for package storage and special handling, and keep the mailroom organized and stocked.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in mailroom operations, facilities support, or similar administrative role
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with basic computer applications including email, tracking software, and database entry
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
