About the role

This role sits with the finance team at a technology company in Singapore and supports the RDD and Supply Chain organisations with analysis and insight tied to product design changes. You will report to the Global Head of Finance and work closely with teams across the business to keep change programmes on track. It suits someone who can hold the strategic view while still getting into the detail of financial projects.

What you'll do

Partner with RDD, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing and Finance teams to coordinate end-to-end implementation of product design changes
Own governance and execution of Design Change Bill of Materials, part numbers, cost structures and related master data updates
Evaluate proposed design changes across cost, quality, supply continuity, operational complexity and customer impact to determine value creation

Analyse existing CM inventory, component exposure and obsolescence risk to recommend change implementation timing and disposition strategies

Drive savings initiatives from change requests through to operationalisation into Product Cost and BOM

Bring out the story behind the numbers and provide insights that inform decisions on costs and supply

Help manage, develop, up-skill and promote the finance function
