Financial Controller

About the role

Oversee the hotel's financial operations and lead the Finance Department, reporting to the General Manager. Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash flow and monthly profit and loss reports. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements. Monitor revenues, expenses, inventory, payroll and cash management while maintaining strong internal controls. Work with department heads and external stakeholders such as banks, auditors and suppliers to support business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years' experience in finance/accounting
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, payroll and internal controls
• Experience leading and developing finance teams
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel financial/accounting systems
