About the role

This role supports customs and shipping documentation for warehouse goods, working with customs officers, third-party providers and internal teams. It suits someone with logistics or admin experience who is comfortable in a fast-moving environment and can keep customers updated on shipment movements.

What you'll do

Process import and export customs permits for warehouse goods
Process duty payment permits for local domestic sale
Liaise with customs officers on shipment arrivals and departures

Ensure the information applied in customs permits is accurate

Update customers on shipment arrival and departure status

Arrange cheque requisitions to shipping carriers with the Finance division

Arrange prompt customs clearance with third-party service providers

Liaise with internal customers on goods receipt and release

Good to know

5-day work week, 8.30am to 6.00pm
Overtime may be required
Candidates with many years of experience may be considered for a supervisor role

Requirements

GCE 'O' level, GCE 'A' level, or Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, Administration Management, Logistics/Transportation or equivalent
At least 1 year of relevant logistics industry experience preferred
Certificate of Customs Competency Test for Declarants by Singapore Customs is an added advantage
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is preferred
Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and strong customer service
