About the role

You will join a cluster of serviced residences, working closely with the Residence Manager to look after guests and keep daily front desk operations running smoothly. This role suits someone with a warm, outgoing manner who enjoys guest contact and is comfortable with rotating shifts. You will be based at one of several Orchard-area properties.

What you'll do

Serve guests courteously and handle their complaints, requests and enquiries quickly and tactfully.
Answer telephone calls promptly, within three rings.
Carry out cashiering duties in line with the residence's policies and procedures.
Build and maintain good relations with in-house guests and show a hospitable attitude.

Take ownership of problems, handle complaints per established procedures, escalate to your supervisor when needed, and write glitch reports.

Follow guest room security, emergency and fire procedures, and encourage use of Safe Deposit boxes (El-Safe) according to policy.

Know the residences' facilities and functions as well as major city attractions and events, and give guests accurate information.

Keep a professional working relationship and clear communication with all hotel staff.

Maintain a well-groomed appearance and a tidy work area.

Carry out any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Good to know

Rotating shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays.
Available locations: Adina Singapore Orchard, Oasia Residence Singapore, Orchard Parksuites, Quincy House Singapore.

Requirements

O-Level or equivalent
Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
Positive attitude, outgoing personality and good communication skills
Hospitality experience and knowledge of HMS are an advantage
