About the role
A senior finance leadership role at RTS Operations Pte Ltd, heading financial strategy, planning and management for the RTSO project. The position is fully office-based and suits an experienced finance professional who can guide the company through its transition from construction into revenue operations. You will work closely with the CEO, Board, shareholders and external stakeholders.
What you'll do
Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's business objectives
Use financial reporting and data analytics to generate insights on business performance and operational efficiency
Oversee consolidated financial reporting for accuracy, transparency and compliance with Singapore and Malaysia standards
Present financial management reports, performance reviews and strategic recommendations to the CEO, Board, shareholders and key stakeholders
Drive financial risk management and cost optimisation across the organisation
Implement transfer pricing and cross-border taxation strategies for Singapore and Malaysia
Direct accounting treatment and financial operations through the shift from construction to revenue commencement
Enhance and automate accounting processes and put system controls in place
Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, tax rules and statutory reporting for the Singapore parent company and its Malaysia branch
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities and regulatory bodies, and provide guidance on the Finance Policy Manual
Keep up to date with new accounting standards and tax regulations and assess their impact
Manage cash flow, working capital and liquidity
Oversee treasury, banking relationships, capital structure planning and returns on cash management
Run scenario simulations and build business cases using assumptions such as ridership patterns, fare pricing and cost projections
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including shareholders, regulators and financial institutions
Support strategic decisions through financial analysis, scenario planning and risk assessment
Provide financial leadership and insights to operational teams
Lead and mentor the finance team and build a high-performance, innovation-driven culture
Promote continuous learning and upskilling in finance technologies and best practices
Good to know
Fully office-based, 5 days a week
Based at the RTSO Project office in Johor Bahru, near the JB customs checkpoint

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent is highly preferred
At least 12 years of relevant financial management experience
At least 5 years in a senior managerial role
Experience in transportation or infrastructure is an advantage
Expertise in financial planning and data-driven decision-making
