About the role
This senior role leads the enterprise controls framework and governance for Prudential's PFA business in Singapore. You will work closely with the CEO and the PFA Management team, while independent oversight stays with Line 2 Risk & Compliance. It suits an experienced controls, risk or audit professional who can influence across functions and vendors.
What you'll do
Set and maintain PFA policies, delegated authorities, governance forums, decision rights and escalation routes with the CEO and PFA Management team.
Maintain the enterprise controls library and standards aligned to MAS expectations and applicable group standards.
Act as senior escalation point for governance breaches and control breakdowns, driving triage, decisioning, issue tracking and closure, and escalation of systemic themes.

Govern outsourced arrangements including material outsourcing, covering accountability, performance and risk monitoring, issue management, and service recovery and exit readiness including BCP and DR.
Ensure arrangements meet MAS Outsourcing Guidelines across the lifecycle, including due diligence, risk assessments, contract and control obligations, periodic monitoring and reviews, incident and escalation reporting, and management information.
Own key and material controls across PFA covering sales, servicing, outsourcing and third-party distribution, including control descriptions, SOPs and process maps, evidence standards, record-keeping and minimum control standards.
Monitor control performance via MI, thematic reviews and periodic testing, and run issue management end-to-end including root cause, action tracking, validation, closure and escalation of systemic issues.
Partner the CEO and PFA Management team to uplift governance by simplifying, harmonising policies, strengthening controls and tightening reporting discipline.
Embed conduct and accountability through clear ownership, follow-through and continuous improvement.
Drive the Enterprise Data Governance framework by establishing ownership for critical data elements, embedding data quality controls into key processes and outsourced arrangements, and monitoring data issues through MI, exception reporting and remediation tracking.
Partner business, technology, risk and compliance stakeholders to strengthen data governance, improve reporting reliability and ensure alignment with MAS expectations, group standards and PFA's enterprise controls framework.

Requirements
Degree in Business, Finance, Law, Risk or a related field
Controls, risk or audit qualification preferred
10+ years in enterprise controls, operational risk, internal audit, controls testing or regulatory-facing governance in financial services
Financial services experience preferred
Strong understanding of MAS expectations including Outsourcing Guidelines
Ability to translate MAS expectations into practical governance, controls and MI
