About the role

You will lead and direct hotel operations, guiding teams across Front Office, Housekeeping & Laundry, Food & Beverage, Security and Engineering to meet the organisation's quality standards and business goals. Working closely with the Executive Committee and reporting to the Area General Manager, this role suits an experienced hotel operations professional ready to take ownership of performance, service standards and guest experience.

What you'll do

Oversee the efficient and profitable running of the hotel across all departments
Work with the Executive Committee on long-term and short-term strategies, budgets and forecasts
Advise the Area General Manager on process improvements and hotel strategies
Analyse trends and changing guest needs around accommodation, services and facilities

Apply yield management strategies to hit ARR and occupancy targets and maximise room inventory

Manage the Housekeeping Department to keep guestrooms and public areas clean and service standards high within budget

Ensure the F&B section meets sales and service standards

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, lobby and other facilities regularly to maintain standards

Coordinate with outsourced security on surveillance, reporting and incident follow-up

Liaise with HR on manpower needs, recruitment, promotions and terminations

Review departmental programmes to develop future department heads

Conduct daily visits to all departments to observe routine activities

Represent the Area General Manager when they are absent

Carry out other duties assigned by the Area General Manager

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent
At least 8–10 years of hotel operations experience, including managerial responsibility
Strong leadership and operational management skills across key hotel functions
Good knowledge of service standards, guest experience and daily hotel operations
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
