ICT & SS Auditor, Internal Audit

About the role

You will be seconded to the IT Audit Department of the Auditor-General's Office to carry out IT audits supporting the audit of Government Financial Statements and other audits of public sector entities. You will assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls in Government ICT systems and processes, identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements. You will interview auditees, analyse system configurations and system logs, prepare working papers and draft audit reports, and validate that remediation actions are effective. You will start with a three to six month training programme under the IT Audit Shared Services Central team in GovTech.

Requirements

• Singapore Citizen
• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in auditing IT systems
• Good understanding of Operating Systems, Databases, Networks or Enterprise Applications
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
