Information Technology - Lead Systems Engineer, IT Network Comms (Core DC) job at Singapore Airlines, Singapore | WorkJio
Drive incident, problem, change and configuration management to meet service targets and standards
Act as technical lead during major incidents, doing deep troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions
Plan and carry out complex changes with risk assessment, readiness checks, back-out planning and post-change validation
Keep configuration and operational documentation of high quality and keep improving runbooks and SOPs
Design and build automation for config deployment and validation, compliance, health checks and reporting
Use Ansible, Python and APIs to standardise operational workflows
Apply AIOps and AI-assisted operations such as event correlation, anomaly detection, noise reduction and predictive alerting to reduce MTTR
Scale automation patterns
Operate and improve the security posture of data centre network infrastructure
Support micro-segmentation and Zero Trust-aligned controls inside the data centre network
Proactively find resiliency and security gaps and drive remediation through engineering changes and automation
Work with vendors and stakeholders to keep services available and issues resolved on time
Track incidents, problems and tickets to ensure SLA adherence, quality updates and timely closure
Join service delivery reviews and drive actions that improve outcomes
Identify operational pain points and implement improvements across process, tooling, monitoring and automation
Take part in POCs and lab validations to improve operability, reliability and automation Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline At least 6 years of hands-on network operations or engineering experience in a multi-vendor environment Strong data centre networking fundamentals: routing, switching, troubleshooting and complex change execution Experience with incident, problem and change management, RCA and service reliability practices Experience implementing process re-engineering and automation to improve processes Strong problem-solving skills and ability to isolate and resolve issues in complex environments Apply on the company website
