Intern, Accounting

About the role

Assist with bookkeeping tasks including recording daily transactions, bank and intercompany reconciliations, and maintaining AP/AR records. Support month-end and year-end closing, variance analysis, and audit preparation. Help prepare supporting schedules for fixed assets and accruals/prepayments, and draft statutory financial statements in line with SFRS(I) requirements. Perform other ad hoc finance tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business (with Accounting specialisation), or related discipline
• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a recognised Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) in Singapore
• Internship must be a compulsory, credit-bearing component required for graduation
• Able to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of 16 consecutive weeks
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (double-entry bookkeeping, debits/credits)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
