About the role

This internship sits with the Audio-Visual Planning & Production team at a large integrated resort in Marina Bay, supporting live and virtual event productions in a convention and exhibition setting. It suits a polytechnic student in a film sound, sonic arts or immersive media programme who wants hands-on production experience. Training is provided, so no prior work experience is needed.

What you'll do

Support audio, visual, multimedia and lighting production for live and virtual events
Apply audio-visual production skills using the tools and facilities provided, including hands-on operations
Help with audio mixing and mastering, video mapping and projection, and lighting programming for conference and entertainment productions
Assist the Planning & Production Team with operation and production scheduling
Deliver on-site technical services alongside the in-house production team, vendors, service providers and contractors, following agreements and event or service orders
Help develop live video streaming pages and integrate AR/VR/UnReal or other digital technology into immersive media production
Carry out administrative duties as requested

Requirements

Enrolled in a polytechnic industrial internship programme in Film Sound & Video, Sonic Arts, Immersive Media Production or a similar stream
No experience needed as training is provided
Excellent communication skills
Able to work odd hours, shifts, weekends and public holidays
Willing to learn and adapt to a changing environment
Detail-oriented with strong production skills and values
