About the role
This internship sits with the Group Treasury team at SATS, based at the AirFreight Terminal 5 location in Singapore. You will support day-to-day treasury work for a large aviation services group, helping with reporting, banking records and cash flow planning. It suits a student or fresh graduate who is keen to learn about corporate treasury, global cash management and foreign exchange risk.
What you'll do
- Help put together treasury reports for management
- Support the upkeep of bank account records and KYC requirements
- Assist with weekly and monthly cash flow forecast projections
- Help with audit compliance matters
- Keep treasury data updated in the TMS
Good to know
- Exposure to treasury management systems is a plus
- Interest in global cash management, foreign exchange risk and corporate treasury is welcomed
Requirements
- Basic understanding of financial principles, cash management and banking operations
- Meticulous and able to spot financial discrepancies
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel
- Quick to pick up new things and adapt to shifting priorities and technologies
- Keen to learn about global cash management, foreign exchange risk and corporate treasury
