Intern - Manufacturing Dry Etch

About the role

Join the Dry Etch Manufacturing team as an intern and work on a structured engineering project on predictive modelling of equipment consumable-part lifetime. You will study Dry Etch equipment functions, processes and consumable parts, and analyse equipment, process, maintenance and cost data to identify trends. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will develop a predictive model for estimating part lifetime and build dashboards or visualisations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python or SQL. You will document your findings and present recommendations to improve consumable utilisation, cost efficiency and productivity while protecting safety, quality and yield.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics or a related discipline
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and technical-documentation skills
• Familiarity with Python, Power BI or SQL is advantageous
• Interest in AI, machine learning or predictive analytics
• Able to commit to a full-time internship of at least 5 months
