Intern- Silicon Design Validation Engineer

About the role

Join the Storage Technology and Products Group Product Engineering team as an intern focused on NAND silicon design validation and automated data analysis. You will study an assigned NAND feature or circuit, run Verilog simulations, and develop a structured validation plan. Using testers, oscilloscopes, probe stations, and approved in-house software, you will collect and analyse silicon validation data and produce technical reports. You will also build a prototype workflow for automated data collection, report generation, or anomaly detection using scripting and AI or machine learning techniques. The internship runs full time for about five months under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Engineering or related discipline
• Basic knowledge of digital electronics, semiconductor devices, circuit design or computer architecture
• Familiarity with Verilog or another hardware description language
• Programming or scripting experience in Python, Perl, C, C++ or similar
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and collaborative skills
• Able to commit to a full-time internship of about 5 months
