About the role

This internship sits with Marriott's Human Resources team at the Singapore regional office, supporting Talent Acquisition and Talent Management work for properties across Asia Pacific excluding China. You'll work alongside the HR Operations and TAMS team on regional projects and daily HR tasks, so it suits a university student keen on building a career in human resources.

What you'll do

Help roll out Talent Acquisition and Management Solutions initiatives, policies and guidelines across the region
Assist area champions with recruitment, human capital and college relations activities
Support recruitment for pre-opening hotels so TAMS programmes, practices, systems and policies are in place
Guide users on the online HR system and database, keeping recruitment and human capital records accurate
Help with internal HR communications such as webinars, manuals, presentations and reports
Analyse data and metrics to propose recommendations and help meet project targets
Research current HR trends in sourcing methods and technology
Organise and join regional office associate events
Assist the HR Ops team on other projects and assignments

Requirements

Undergraduate student, preferably in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Management, Economics or Marketing
Singaporean, Singapore PR, or holder of a valid student pass or work holiday pass
Enrolled in or graduate of a university programme in Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, the UK or the US
Able to commit to a six-month internship
Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced, action-oriented setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
