Intern - Vertical Product Engineer (VPE)

About the role

Join the Product Engineering team to work on a structured project involving NAND Flash, high-speed memory products, and solid-state drives. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will study product test, qualification, and characterization requirements, and analyse test results, yield data, or electrical measurements to identify improvement opportunities. You will also conduct circuit simulations, engineering yield evaluations, or electrical failure analyses, and may develop or enhance test coverage, screening methods, data-analysis scripts, or automated reporting. The role may include exploring AI-enabled workflows for engineering triage, anomaly detection, knowledge retrieval, or test-result analysis. You will document your analysis and present a final technical report with methodology, results, limitations, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Microelectronics, Data Science, or a related engineering discipline
• Understanding of CMOS device physics, circuit fundamentals, memory technology, or solid-state drive architecture
• Familiarity with circuit simulation, CAD tools, test-flow architecture, component-level testing, or system-level testing
• Programming or analytics experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is advantageous
• Familiarity with Machine Learning, Generative AI, large language models, AI Assistants, or AI-enabled workflows is advantageous
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and collaboration skills
