Join Temasek's Internal Audit team as an Analytics & AI Intern, where you'll see how data analytics and AI are changing audit work across business and technology audits. This role suits curious, technically strong students who want to combine hands-on technical work with audit insight.

What you'll do

Prototype AI solutions and test AI-powered workflows to improve audit processes
Apply structured prompt engineering to make GenAI outputs more reliable and accurate
Explore and use Large Language Models to pull insights from unstructured data such as contracts, policies and transcripts
Help build and maintain data pipelines, extracting and transforming structured and unstructured data to spot trends, anomalies and risks
Work with data platforms such as Snowflake to strengthen audit coverage and continuous monitoring
Develop and maintain interactive visualisations and operational dashboards using tools like Tableau or Streamlit
Give ad-hoc support on core business and technology audits to build understanding of enterprise risks and controls
Take part in process walkthroughs and control testing to find where data analytics and AI can be applied to traditional audit fieldwork

Internship runs Jan – Jun 2027
Full-time commitment of at least 20 weeks; full-time (5 days/week) or at least part-time (4 days/week) strongly preferred
Based at Temasek's Singapore office (SG, 238891)
Gain hands-on AI and analytics experience in a corporate assurance setting
Work with modern SaaS data clouds, LLMs and cloud-based architectures
Blend technical execution with corporate governance, business audit and IT audit
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and receive mentorship

Requirements

Able to commit full-time for at least 20 weeks
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, AI, Information Systems or a related field
Experience building AI agents with tools such as Copilot Studio, Claude or Gemini
Experience developing simple analytics or AI applications, e.g. Streamlit
Proficiency in data science, analysis and visualisation using SQL, Python and Tableau
Curious, collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership and proactiveness
