When
You will report to the Internal Audit Manager and support the internal audit functions of a Town Council. Your duties include conducting risk assessments, testing controls, and analysing their effectiveness. You will identify control gaps, follow up on audit issues, and document your work. You will also support the external auditor during the year-end financial audit and help enhance internal audit standards. You will check compliance with corporate governance rules and statutory requirements, and support the Audit Committee.
