About the role

Join the Emerging Business International team within Global Commercial Banking, where you'll support strategic initiatives across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Indonesia. This internship suits an undergraduate who is curious about SME banking, comfortable with data, and keen to build project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

What you'll do

Support regional market scans to understand competitor products, customer needs and opportunities in SME banking
Conduct customer and market analysis to identify target segments and refine propositions across payments, collections, FX and cash management

Help enhance cash management products such as account solutions, trade and FX offerings, and business debit card propositions

Work with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Credit and other teams on product launches, campaigns and acquisition initiatives

Analyse portfolio and business data, prepare management reports and build visualisations for decision-making

Support automation of reporting, operational efficiency and customer onboarding improvements

Track system issues with Technology and business stakeholders and contribute to enhancement work

Monitor portfolio performance, revenue drivers and business metrics to spot trends and growth opportunities

Provide support on programme management, product management and strategic projects as assigned
