Internship Programme

About the role

You will support routine laboratory work, including sample preparation, logging test samples, and conducting analyses according to set methods and SOPs. You will make sure assigned tests are completed within the required turnaround time. You will also help with equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and keeping the lab clean and safe. You will document your work and maintain accurate study records, and follow all safety procedures and use the provided safety equipment.

Requirements

• B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or equivalent
• Able to interact with operational personnel, scientific personnel, and department management
• Able to work with potentially hazardous materials
• Able to stand and sit for long periods, including working in a laboratory hood and at a bench top
• Able to use personal protective equipment (PPE)
