Job Ambassador, SE CDC

About the role

Engage resident jobseekers and coordinate onboarding of community employers to the Jobs Nearby @ CDC scheme. Provide personalised guidance to jobseekers, helping them set up digital profiles and navigate job portals. Work with employers and vendors to facilitate job matching and on-the-spot interviews. Organise and participate in job fairs, learning festivals, and outreach activities. Monitor jobseeker progress and conduct follow-ups to improve service delivery. Provide operational guidance to new Job Ambassadors during onboarding.

Requirements

• Knowledge in outreach, career advisory, community engagement, HR/recruitment, or workforce development
• Knowledge of a second language (e.g. Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or dialects)
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently across different community locations
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
• Ability to conduct outdoor engagement activities
